I had the nice experience where I could not get the “zxsuite” (NG = Next Generation) environment up and running after upgrading to Zimbra 8.8(.3).  Reading trough blog-posts and forums just did not give me the answer I needed, namely HOW do you get zxsuite up and running after this upgrade?  Well, the answer was buried  deep in some Zimbra blog I just found.

There is a small sub-note saying that when you upgrade to Zimbra 8.8+ and choose to install the NG modules they do not come enabled by default.  You need to enable it with:

zmprov ms `zmhostname` zimbraNetworkModulesNGEnabled TRUE
zmmailboxdctl restart

All I can say is WT… Zimbra/Zextras!?  This should be the number one item on your installer!
